New Song: "All My Friends Say."

What do these songs have in common...Luke Bryan. He wrote "Good Directions," and before Billy Currington released it as a single...it was decided it was going on his upcoming debut album.

"All My Friends Say," His first single...super fly. So...talented...yes. Teeth....fantabulous...and...he looks like...this....le sigh.

I was going to write a poem about my newfound love...but i realize that I am trying to watch and love Ninja Warrior on the G4 channel...and...that I have created a photographic piece of art that is more poetry than anything even Shakespeare ever created. again....seriously...le sigh...

Sweet Home Oh My Damn

If I tried to count the number of times I've seen "Sweet Home Alabama" I'd so run out of fingers and toes. It's only, like, the very bestest movie ever on the planet. I want to be Melanie Smooter when I grow up. Most importantly, Josh Lucas....Hel-lo. Jake...scruffy...good. I just love it...just love it. I've vowed to continue my Reese Witherspoon movie collection....somehow...I don't own my favorite movie....I'm crazy.

I'm exhausted....I had a long run through multiple parking lots after a rogue puppy...tons of fun. He's lucky he's not a really expensive pancake. Then he had horrible death gas while sleeping on my pillow...I burned the pillow case.

I love when the cable channels do their little mini shows in between movies. USA has a road trip with Evan and Jaron. I love them...they had that "Crazy for this Girl" song a couple years ago. Hot twins who can sing and play the guitar. I'm OK with that. They're going to a fire station...I can understand taking that visit. You never know when an off duty FF is going to get the urge to take his shirt off and do push ups

....or put on his turnout gear.

One more thing about my movie...Keni Thomas and Cornbread. Yeah...we have an ongoing love affair.

Watching the Idol finale. (Thank you TiVo). I'm still sticking with my Jordin prediction...although...I love me some Blake...it is what it is. She looks totally cute in this first outfit. I know that.

Song I'm in love with today: Reba & Kelly Clarkson's "Because of You" duet. Speaking of Idol.... I listened to it 3 times today while I was working on the countdown for Sunday. That and Sarah Buxton, whom I already know that I love. She wrote "Stupid Boy." Check that out.....it's a completely different, and just as fabulous, song. She has a new single that is in the top thirty called "That Kind of Day." Chekc out the Lyrics...it's a total chick song. I'm loving it.

I LOVE Kelly Clarkson....this is my play-by-play. She just rocks. This new single is sweet. She's been having all sorts of problems with her label/Clivie Davis not digging her new album because she wanted the stuff she wrote and doesn't want to do songs she doesn't like just for the marketablity. While I admire this....and I really like this new song that is hers....One of the songs she didn't want to do was "Since U Been Gone," and I'm sorry...that is a song....I mean...a song. And one of her biggest hits, right? hello, Jeff Foxworthy :)

OK....I'm going to sleepy time :) I got things to dream of tonight.

American Idol finals night....eh....what happened? I think that idol has jumped the shark. It used to be a big deal to watch the finals. I think that last years' ruined it since neither of those really were the best and Taylor Hicks sucks. Chris Daughtry is still hot...although....eyeliner much? But yeah...Jordin should win. She's American Idol-y. Then Blake won't have to sell out and become a wash up. Speaking of making losing idol a good thing...where is my Daughtry CD?

Highly recommend that fabulousness.

It's reality TV competition night...I'm all over Dancing with the Stars.

Although...here's a funny. My Gran LOVES...and I mean, L-O-V-E-S this show. However....last night...when I asked her why she wasn't watching....her response: "Oh No...I have to see LeBron." And people wonder why I turn into a boy when it comes to sports. Ha! My gran is my BFF...she's so fab. And the Pistons won...so she's a happy gal. All the Detroit sports action has her very busy. She really doesn't know where to focus now that she's living with my parents and their cable :)

His new album, Pure B.S. is AWESOME! (it happens to be what I am listening to at the moment!). This session is just blake and some dude with guitars. "Don't Make Me" and "She Don't Love Me" are just fabulous...the latter is my FAVORITE!!

My roommate's sister got married this weekend. It was great fun. I made friends with her cousin and his fiance and some other folks. We had some drinks, decorated the car with shrink wrap and VO5 conditioner, incriminating photos were taken of me blowing up....baloons....it was great. One thing bothered me though. I really didn't know that many people there. I Know the family and a a coupole extended family members...but I was really tryingot just sit back and remain anonymous at this thing. You know how there are those chicks at weddings that think they're the hottest thing there and....act out....for lack of a better term? I really wanted to just hang. The stupid photographer was followingme around. People were commenting about it. There should have been NO pictures of me from this thing. I'm no one. No pictures of me...NONE! Everytime I turned around...there he was. I feel like a jerk. But I was a quiet sailty flower. Stupid photog...I feel like Lindsay Lohan ;)

Blake Lewis' dad makes me laugh. He looks like he should be chopping down trees or running a construction site....but all he does is dance and cry. I'm catching up on Idol (bless the TiVo) since I had to put it off the watch the ACMs....of which I went 8:4 in my picks...woo hoo. What really matters is Miranda won (eeek!!!) and Carrie worked it out.

I loved the Reba/Kelly duet. I love Kelly and that is my favorite of her songs. We just got the single this morning and I took it to Heather to play right away :)

So...I wonder if I really care who wins Idol anymore. Normally I have a distinct favorite....Oh well....still watching and yelling @ the TV. I think Melinda had the best night last night....but Jordin was fabulous....and another but...the only one whose album I'll actually buy is Blake. He's got the Mraz vibe going. I would listen to him.

Elliot Yamin...veneers...we know your teeth were jacked up before. He looks like the "I just wanna Dance" guy from "Dazed and Confused." You know...the guy who played the crazy roommie that moved in the Chandler when Joey moved out. What's up, Brown Pants? Yamin....one of my favorite code words for the female parts. Yeah...I'm special.

Paula is already crying. Yamin just came to sing...he's not getting voted off again...stop crying.

OK...I'm going to vent about something people are doing that annoys me. I am so tired of phone calls and e-mails accusing us of lying. freaking a. Ashleigh is real. Stop asking me if she is. It's insulting to Bub and makes him feel terrible that people don't believe he could ever have a girlfriend. I talked to her today...she looked pretty real to me. If you're spreading rumors....stop. It's not nice and your damaging our reputation. Our show is real....the poor guy is trying to get up the guts to propose...and now he's freaking. Stop. Now.
